Hi,

I don't see the navigation (timeline) for recorded TV programs. I can play, but there is no play head to move to different parts of the program. Running latest version of MP1

The OSD (off the top of my head: press the Y key on your keyboard) should show the timeline. However, unlike some other programs, you cannot use the timeline to move to different parts of the program. In other words: clicking on it etc. will do nothing. It's only a display, not a control. It's expected that you'd use skip steps (left, right, up, down) or fast-forward/rewind to move to different parts of the program as required.

It I want to get right to the middle of the program, how is the best way to do that? Are there different skip sizes?

If I want to get right to the middle of the program, what is the best way to do that?
Enter 4 numeric digits representing "hhmm", where this is the offset in hours and minutes from the start of the recording. Example: if the recording is 60 minutes in length, enter "0030" to jump to 30 minutes from the start of the recording.

Sorry, I didn't get email notifications on these latest replies. I just came here to report I solved the problem after adjusting power settings for "Intel Graphics". I compliment you on the thoroughness of your investigations. (y) Unfortunately, I don't have any ideas what the problem might be. :( Perhaps someone else will post with some suggestions. -- from CyberSimian in the UK
