@ajs has made some changes to LMH that make the red dot appear correctly in more cases than previously , but @catavolt has found at least one case where the red dot does not (yet) appear correctly . But it is definitely worth trying the modified LMH dll. See this thread:

Many thanks to catavolt, ajs and CyberSimian for making it possible, it can be a good improvment, finally.
Therefore, in a DEV side, I follow my idea (even if MP devs will not be happy with that) :
It is not NORMAL that MP1 plugins would do the trick when MP1 should do it NATIVELY, even with less devs.
This is not a heavy dev but I can understand that it is lower priority than fixing others bugs (what about signal strength dedicaced to a card ? which could improve MP2 ?) ...

@ajs : I will try when I will have time.
What I would like in a "perfect word" :
- MP give at least minimun (IsRecording state in really all cases and, in real time).
- LMH will do it's best for giving new records, new videos or musics imports, as actually cause, it is his first functional job.
- We create a newer plugin to take care of all this recorded stuff we can add/improve (channels, recording names...).
Just my POV...

I dont know TV part of MP and I can't understand it properly, but whoever has a TV in the Media Portal can try to add a global property to the TV plugin, and update it when the variable is updated - Are there records now (I will come home, I can prompt the approximate place of updating)

I know TV part (server and client side).
If MP devs (same as you) tells you I don't know it, they are liars (just a joke, don't ban me )
If we want to dev a newer plugin, we need at least, informations asked in previous post.
Without that, the only way is to make a MP fork...

Hmmm, if you know the TV part, why not open Jira and not make the necessary changes?
