"Removable" vs. "Keep reference" (1 Viewer)

From my understanding 'Import Paths > Removable' will keep reference to files that are not available only for that import path e.g. a DVD Drive or someother removable device. Also during scan it will retrieve DriveInfo such as volumelabel and prompt for that if you try to play a episode from this path and its not available e.g. Insert Disk etc
'Online Data Sync > Keep reference to files that are not available' will keep reference to all files on all import paths. Might be useful if you have a slow response to see a network drive (but usually that can be fixed by playing around with different driver combination's). I use to have a problem where I needed to do this because it took 30secs for the network to be available.

The electronic program guides (tvguide.xml) have been successfully transferred to MediaPortal.
