When I'm browsing through MP when playing a video, the video continues to play in the background. How do I return to watching this video from the remote? Sometimes the back button works, sometimes it doesn't. =/

In MP config go to the controller section, and then click 'use Microsoft MCE remote or keyboard'. Then click mapping. You will get a list of buttons you have(and some you dont have) on your MCE remote. Find a button you don't need/use on your remote, and click it.

I attached a screen showing what should be there. I used the power button it this example but you can use whatever button you want

So your MCE remote does not have a red, green, yellow, and blue buttons?

Just those I attached. I messed about with task priorities MP/TV-Server/SQL-Server and the issue changed to the skin.. I would do something, but it would be 10's of seconds before the action happened. Doing an Alt-Tab would flush the actions. Too weird lol!! So, with some flak from the family, I had to give in. I just did a...

Also when I wake up the HTPC MP closes or crashes (not sure which) as per the example in...

I have looked at your log files, but as usual they are unintelligible gobbledegook. (I am sure that the original developers who wrote that code know what the log entries mean, but those developers have long since retired from the MP team.) I regret to say that I think that you will have to use the "brute force" method to track down...
