thanks for the patch! Can you please comment your changes a bit? I don't understand everything you're doing, can you perhaps refer to a stack trace or a specific problem which happens when your changes are not applied? Maybe the expected effect can be achieved in a simpler way.

I've set the path itself to "rejected", because it was not used directly. Albert did rework the CustomAction so the auto attach issue is fixed.
