Skinning Q: Use multiple fanart for filmstrip view (instead of multiple posters) (1 Viewer)

Hi

Is it possible to create a filmstrip view or an 2x3 table using fanart to graphically represent each series.

kinda like this screenshot from alaska?

not possible as of yet. First we need to pull down the fanart that contains series names (seriespanels) and also allow Filmstrip to be used with seriespanels.

Issue 268 - Allow the skinner to have more control over the facade for different views and image types

I assume that something like this is possible though.

ie display the currently selected banner, when the list of choices is based on poster views.

Nope, because you can not do Poster ThumbViews either. Internally the plugin only will do Posters in Filmstrip. WideBanners are the only images that currently allocated to BigThumbs view.

Thanks, what about these 2 ideas

1. list view with a banner and fanart for the currently selected item

2. filmstrip view with a banner and fanart for the currently selected item

Both of those are possible. You can always show the current Banner,Poster and Fanart for the selected Item
