When viewing teletext, the one thing I realy miss from my "normal" TV is the ability to increment/decrement the teletext pages using the channel selector button on my remote (MCE).
How did you map the keys? What key values did you use?
I've tried this with almost every key value that I can think of without success. I still guess it is the ASCII values that are to be used (based on the configuration of the numbers 0-9). But I have tried scan codes also without success.
Could there be a dependancy to the version of MP? I have 0.2.2.0.
But how did you do it? By writing the ASCII codes 45 and 43 in the key mapping, or what? I can't get that to work, or maybe I am using the wrong values.
I now have found another thread that discusses the same problem as I have. They can get it to work with numbers but not with other characters. They solved their problem by using actions, which is not working for teletext...
There is something strange here. Have you mapped your keys in your remotes own application? I can't do that with mine...
Isn't the feature that we miss a default configuration issue? Ie that MP out of the box have a button assigned on the remote to increment/decrement the page-number.
At least that is the "feature" I miss.
In my case I have a MCE remote, and the page-number increment/decrement can be assigned to any of the "arrows" or the Channel number (up/down) button.
I have an ATI remote wonder and is not using the original application (due to the double keystroke problems). So (as far as I understand at least) I have to use the key mapping in MediaPortal for this and it is not working for me...
The main problem is of course that increase/decrease pagenumber on teletext is missing. It might not be a bug, but it is something that all TVs have but not MediaPortal. I wouldn't mind having +10/-10 and +100-/100 also.
One could also argue whether this should be connected to the colored buttons on the remote instead like on most TV sets...
...but I personally would prefer that these buttons are mappable separately from the colored ones.

Interesting. I had never noticed that when the "command" is "ACTION", the "cmdproperty" is the actual window id, but it makes sense that it is.
Try this for yourself. First backup your working profile for the remote, then in the "Mapping" panel make a change to...

I would like to be able to go directly to the Scheduled recordings window without having to first go to the home menu.
I saw this...
Ran into this problem following an otherwise sucessful upgrade from MP 1.34 x64 to MP 1.35 x64 the CEC Remote plugin which I use just to control volume and standby, will no longer put my devices (TV & AVR) to sleep when the HTPC is put in standby. Also when I wake up the HTPC MP closes or crashes (not sure which) as per the example in...
