Stop Movie Problem (1 Viewer)

Stopping a movie from Moving Pictures is not working correctly for me. I have to press the stop button severel times until the movie stops. In mptv-series or the video plugin everything is working.

Hi,
I'm having the same problem. It used to work fine, but lately I've also observed that it's sometimes hard to stop a movie. I have to press stop several times before the movie actually stops. (it might also be that the initial stop is very slow). It's not always like this so it's a bit hard to debug. This is not much information to go on, but it's interesting to know that I'm not the only one with this problem.

Still having the issue. So I have to generate the log file.
The problem only seems to occur while trying to stop a movie at the ending. While in in the middle or at the begining stopping the movie works as it should.

Ok so I have to start debuging mode. Watch a movie till the end. Try to stop. And after that end MediaPortal.

And then provide as many log files as you can, don't try to only provide the info you think is relevant, cuz I've seen a lot of cases were more log file info was needed

One thing I do know from experience helping others solve their problems, is that these type of issues fall back on the codec/splitters in 9 out of 10 cases.

The LAV codec system is pretty easy to use, as there is an MPEI package available for it, called LAVfilters, that will take care of everything.

It comes with LAV splitter, LAV video codec and LAV audio codec and can playback almost everything without issues. It has support for DXVA, DXVA2 and even nVidia CUDA and Intel QuickSync to help speed decoding up. When you install it however it does not know anything about your system, so be sure to go into your Start -> All Programs -> LAVfilter and change the configuration on the splitter (select which extensions you want to use, what subtitle languages, etc), as well as audio (select the capabilities of your audio system so that the right codecs are passed-through, such as AC3, DTS, but also DTS-HD if your decoder is a fancy modern HDMI one with support) and finally videocodec (be sure to select the hardware decoding support your system supports, when in doubt select "DXVA2 (native)" if you have a relativly current system with a videocard that supports it, but also go over all the other settings).

If in doubt, post a screenshot of your current LAV settings (for splitter+audio+video, unless the problem is specific to audio only for example) as well as a screenshot of your MediaPortal codec settings for that specific file.

Which MP version do you use and which MovPic version? Have you tried to delete/rename your MovPic database and create a new one? Have you tried to disable I.F.C. plugin?
