Support for 4TR beta version? (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I am using the latest beta version of Fortherecord. (version 1.6.1 BETA1) It has some nice new features, but before I can use it the skin has to be updated..

I hope anyone can do this!

some more detailed info from FTR thread

StreamedMP throws errors, missing or invalid file 4TR_Home.xml. Teletex changes?

There are also some new files:
*4TR_RecordedTv2.xml :same as 4TR_RecordedTv.xml, only some button ID's are changed. (and disk usage indicator)
*4TR_TvGuideSearch2.xml :same as 4TR_TvGuideSearch.xml, only some new buttons added.
*4TR_ProgramInfo2.xml :same as 4TR_ProgramInfo.xml, only added "reminder" button.
*4TR_UpcomingTv.xml :almoste the same as 4TR_Upcoming.xml, only splitted tv and radio.
*4TR_UpcomingRadio.xml :almoste the same as 4TR_Upcoming.xml, only splitted tv and radio.
*4TR_RecordedRadio2.xml :same as 4TR_RecordedTv.xml, only some button ID's are changed.
*4TR_RadioGuideSearch2.xml :same as 4TR_RadioGuideSearch.xml, only some new buttons added.
*4TR_ManualSchedule.xml :totally new

I asked them for a skinners guide in the ftr beta thread for all the changes but they didnt reply. ltfearme said he would look at it if they provided some documentation for the changes.

Well, everything that worked in the previous vesion works also fine in the new version, only a few new features don't workd an have to be updated..

And you get this error:

The home screen doesn't work because there is now a "Teletext" button and it's missing from the skin. Use the default blue wide skin files as a reference (since the 4TR team updated those), add that button and that would solve that error message appearing.

The other skin files, such as recordings, have new names because TV and Radio are now split, so errors are thrown (and in the case of recordings, nothing shows at all). However if you simply copy 4TR_RecordedTv.xml to 4TR_RecordedTv2.xml you'll get your recordings skin screen back, although with some errors. Again, using the default blue wide skin files as a reference you can copy in the button/id changes if that annoys you.

A proper update by a real skinner would be ideal, but doing the above would get you to a place that is more or less functional for now.
