Hi,
Interesting, I use a completely different set of settings
MPEG2: ATI Video Decoder
H264: PowerDVD h264
Audio: AC3Filter
Postprocessing with ffdshow using KernelBob for interlacing and some sharping.
This means I do not use HW-acc for the decoding but it is no problem on my C2D 2.4GHz. The deinterlacing with ffdshow give me smoother video for sports shows etc, better than any built-in deinterlacer I've tried.

Thank you for the info and especially for your time. I've ordered a HDHomerun Flex Duo 2. I'm using a mini PC for TV, it's too small to fit any card from TBS. Hopefully the HDHomerun will work, and last longer than the previous HDHomerun I had (HDHomerun Extend HDTC-2US) which was hot to the touch and died after a couple years.

It has, of course, latest software from Silicondust already installed, version name 20230713.
BDA compatibility mode is set to MediaPortal.
Advanced --- BDA driver set to InjectCVCT

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal.
