Has anyone got this remote working with mp
Its the one that came with C1500 budget card

I have created remote control plugin for TT budget cards. Unfortunately it's not working properly. It's crash MediaPortal randomly. Curnetly I have no time to complete it. If someone whos have programing skils can debug it and make stable - I can share my sources.

Here is my sources.
Currently the plugin crashes on first call of OnIRCode callback function. I suppose there is some mistake in declaration, but unfortunately unable to fix it.
Test application form Test directory works fine, and this is a very strange.

I've just taken a quick look at the code ...

I don't have one of these remotes to test with, but I'm looking at adding support for it to my remote control application.

Just at a glance I would say that the problem you're seeing is because you are passing a delegate to a pinvoke but not keeping a copy of the delegate in managed code... the delegate then gets garbage collected because there is no managed reference to it.

I can't test that theory, but it certainly looks like it from the code.

I just too a glance at the code, where I must admit that it's not in my area of expertise.
But I'm willing to assist on testing & helping with the debugging end, as I've got one of these remotes.

It might be interesting to team up (and-81 and myself); Given that Alex seems to be very busy finishing the code, and I've seen multiple threads on the forum regarding the TT remotes, so there is a demand for it.

Hey kvaes,

I've already made some changes to the source code, can you test the attached program. It's a console app that should connect to the TechnoTrend device and display any button presses on screen.

If it works, I'd like a list of the button codes for your remote if that's ok?

If it doesn't work, can you send back any error messages?

If it does work I'll get it working as a MediaPortal plugin again.
