I've just upgraded from MP 1.7 to 1.10 (on Windows 7), and am finding that the MP TV Config app keeps opening without any action on my part. Has anyone else noticed this?
Good point. The specific circumstances are when I have MP running, then use alt-tab to switch back to the Windows desktop (e.g. to open a web browser or another application). Within a few seconds of switching to the Desktop the MP TV-Server Configuration application opens.
I've run the TV configuration several times since the upgrade - scanned for TV and radio channels, defined TV channel mappings, configured XMLTV and mapped guide channels to tuner channels, so I don't understand why the TV config app continues to open without prompting when I use alt-tab to switch to the desktop.
???
Hhm, have never experienced anything similar thus far.
I think that we agree that Alt-Tab should do nothing else than switching between the currently running processes. The situation might be different if you press Alt-Tab from within a fullscreen MediaPortal session. In this case any possibly pre-defined shortcut would be interpreted by MePo itself. YOu may want to check oput any Keyboard shortcut that is defined within MePo.
Thank you for this tip! I'm moving MP TV Server to a new machine. I installed the 64-bit version and most of the MP firewall rules were set to Public. I couldn't connect to the new TV Server from my old single-seat installation running 32-bit until I changed all MP-related firewall rules on the new machine to Private. Before I did...

Sorry, it's my fault -- I did not notice that you are using MP2. :(
MP1 has a separate configuration utility, similar to "TV Server Config". I have tried MP2 only a couple of times, and have never used it seriously. I don't know what MP2 supports with regard to adjusting audio delay, but I do know that all of the adjustments of...

Sorry, I didn't get email notifications on these latest replies. I just came here to report I solved the problem after adjusting power settings for "Intel Graphics". I set it to Maximum Performance. I tried many other things so it could be a combination of them, but this was the last thing I did and I haven't had the problem return...
