Hi Chris,

thx for your help. everything seems no to be running. i miss a liitle bit the group button in mytv from mp, but you can t have everything. a other proplem is, that i can change the aspect ration for mpa-decoder in mytv...dunno what it is...

now, i have to make some filedtests, to find out how stabel everything runs.

you also said, that i don t need both, from the componentes above..i mean this ms-tools.
can you tell my, wich of them i don t need and i can deeinstall?

i miss a liitle bit the group button in mytv from mp,

when you have the "channelselector" (also know as mini-epg) open, then you can change the group with the "left" and "right" cursors/buttons on your remote.

inside the TV-Guide you can change the group with the context menu

other proplem is, that i can change the aspect ration for mpa-decoder in mytv

do you mean that MPV does not detect the aspectratio of movies correctly?
because this is a but inside MPV we can not fix.

nvidia purevideo decoder doesnt have this issue, but is a commercial decoder

puh, that not easy to identufy what i can deeinstall and what i need, becouse the names are not very exactly.

i have this installed:

ms sql server 2005
ms sql server manamgemt studio express
ms sql server native client
ms squl server vss writer
my sql server5.0
my sql tools for 5.0

don t wana uninstall the wrong component
and ynthing else, now, i have only a one seat configuration, later on, i wana have some client. so i need the components who are necassary for that...

puh, that not easy to identufy what i can deeinstall and what i need, becouse the names are not very exactly.

i have this installed:

the save way:

1. uninstall everything
2. delete the folders where they have been installed.
3. install MS SQL Server express ::download::
4. install MS SQL Server Management Studio Express ::download::

hi chris,

thx for you help and detailed instructions. have installed the newst svn from yesterday. tvengine has a scan proplem. it seems that i can scan every satelite but not astra. if i choose astra and go on scanning, its just finish in less secounds. but it hasn t scaned at all. other satelites seems to work fine...
dunno what it is. trying the latest svn`s from today, hopeing scaning is working.

other question. i work with several backups of mp. i have seen that release rc2 is out. i have an backup from mp release rc1. can i bring it to the actual state just with installing rc2 over it, or must i deeinstall rc1 before?

other satelites seems to work fine...

how many sattelites are you tuning at?

only two satelites. astra and hotbird. have only testet, if scan is working with other satetelites.
it runs trhrough. only if i choose astra, its finish in few secounds and shows that nothing is found...
