TVE 3.5 (1 Viewer)

Setup TV will not close when clicking the OK Button.

This should be already fixed in the latest push from mm.
I saw it few months ago and "reported" here :

BTW: In the TV Server Configuration the OK button isn't working (no action after clicking it). I have to close the configuration with the "X". Maybe you can fix it in the next release?

Already done in my branch.

But till now there is no new TVE3.5 SlimTV build available, right?

When stopping the MP2-Server process, it appears the DB for TV 3.5 does not stop properly

Hi there , i wanted to test the TVE 3.5 with latest MediaPortal 2 summer update 1 , TVE 3 is working but TVE 3.5 didnt find the TV service , tried to use localhost or machine IP but it doesnt work . Any idea please ?

My guess is that both plugins (3 + 3.5) are in the MP2-Server\Plugins folder. If this is the case, loading of the 2 conflicting plugins will be skipped. Remove one of them and try again.

If this was not the cause, please post your logfiles.

For all others wo like to try it, I quote the installation notes from plugin download area

The attached file is for Summer'15 Release Update 1 or newer. The version for older MP2 versions is archieved.

• Stop the MP2-Server
• Extract the archive to any folder.
• Copy the subfolders of "20150906-SlimTv.Service35" into C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Plugins.
• Remove the C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Plugins\SlimTV.Service3 folder
• Start the MP2-Server.
• Execute SetupTV from folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Plugins\SlimTv.Service35\SetupTv\SetupTV.exe and do a channel scan as known from MP1.

The 3rd step is required, because the Summer'15 Release already contains the TVEngine 3 (known from MP1), and there can be only one engine running at same time.​
