You can upgrade your 0.5.0 installation to this version without any problems. No clean installation is needed.

Posting your problems and logs here increases the chance I'll look over them or forget to answer them. Please use a new topic! It's also highly appreciated if you could state which client you are using (aMPdroid, WebMediaPortal or something else) that causes this problem.

could you please add an Option to Change the path for tv logos using the gui (instead changing the XML config file manualy)?

Same here, smooth update - working beautifully.
Another feature request: possibility to assign user various degress of permissions, so that not all users have the ability to fx change settings.

Another thing, maybe it is possible to split "TV Server" tab in Web GUI into "TV Server" and "Live TV". Bit confusing terminology and also the default page for TV Server is the status. So when wanting to see TV, it would be better choosing "Live TV" and the default page would be the EPG?
Just a thought...

Hi Oxan, thanks for this Update. Here my is my small List

MPExtended 0.51

Problems

1. Direct Streaming ( without Flash ) does not work over Internet ( was also reported for 0.50 )
2. Since i´m using a static NAT on my Router/FW the download for stream.mu3 does not work

Ihre Eingabe konnte nicht geöffnet werden:
VLC kann die MRL 'http://xxx.xxx.xxx:8090/Stream/MusicTrack?item=78&transcoder=Audio-only (MP3)&continuationId=playlist-30828' nicht öffnen. Sehen Sie für Details im Fehlerprotokoll nach.

The Problem here is that outside Port 8090 is not open. I use a High Port ( f.e. 65000 ---> forwarded to 8090 ). I think the download is not passed through the Proxy. Download of Recordings are working.

Improvments

1. Add Radio
2. Possibility to add a path to the TV Logos in the GUI, instead of editing xml file
3. Possibility to use external Player for Live TV / Recordings and Movies ( f.e. MPC HC or VLC )
- maybe its possible to add a link for the direct streaming URL ?

I'm not really sure what you mean. Stock WebMP doesn't have a "TV Server" tab, only "TV Guide", "Recording", "Schedules" and "Status". Might be different if you use a skin, but then you've to go to the skin author

Hmm crap, the problem here is that WebMP generates absolute URLs with the network-internal host, not the WAN address. Let me try to fix that.

Launching MPC HC or VLC from the browser isn't possible. The direct streaming URL is already there in the m3u file.

Yes, you are perfectly right. After a closer look I realize that it was the skin I used which differed from the default layout. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Anyway, are there any plans for managing the TV service from web interface (restart etc)?
Also it would be nice to be able to configure the disk information of interest in the status (don't think many people is interested knowing space left on the A-drive for example )

Could you list the standard router ports that needs to be open/routed to the server when trying to access from the WAN side for everything related to webextended, ampdroid, wifiremote, WebMediaPortal?
