That's really not uploading, that's linking
I would hate if all the images in the Wiki was put different places around the world on casual servers. There must be an option to upload them to the MediaPortal Wiki...

just read the page carefully, especially when it comes to attachments and images. Some more details about attachments: HelpOnActions/AttachFile - MediaPortal Manual Documentation
in short: create an account/login, open the desired page, click on 'attachments', upload the picture, include the file/picture in the article: [[attachment:image.png]]

OK, I found a way to make it work. It seems like MP-TV-series Configuration (and Moving Pictures Configuration) starts as Administrator, and the Administrator do not have yet logged in on the UNC \\192.168.222.247\Public even if the normal user on the PC have done it.
