Video rendering is done by video shaders. There is a config setting under players- VideoPlayer.
As default MP2 uses "sharpen complex" for SD video and "Normal" for HD.
The list of available shaders could be extended to support other pixel scaling and processing routines.

Ok, thanks much. I will look into the instructions above. For the moment, I turned off the "Automatic channel logo update" in Settings (which somehow I had missed, I think because it wasn't an option previously), and the deleted everything in the Flat-default folder and populated it with my own logos.
