Well I now have two machines working well with MePo and have helped several peeps get theirs up and running here in North America.
A site that I am on with Mondoman has given us our own HTPC section just for this and is getting thousands of hits by peeps really interested in this.
The only thing left to complete this is usals support. If this appears to be begging then I suppose it is, LOL, if I could do this myself I would but have no idea where to start.
Thanks peque for the reply and info.
I was hoping that someone had figured out a way to do it while in Mediaportal.
I can move my dish but would like it to move when I change a channel as I have access to 8 sats here in North America.
I use a cheap FTA box to do it now but is a pain having to switch inputs just to aim the dish.
Benney: you should be able to do that in MP if your tuner is able to move the dish... but I'm picking you're using the official Genpix BDA driver, so it won't work for you. MP doesn't yet support DiSEqC with the official Genpix BDA driver. That is coming, but until then DiSEqC should work with the 3rd party driver from -->here<--. "No comment" on how reliable or safe that driver is; try it at your own risk.
DJBlu: I can forsee merge hell coming for one or both of us - might pay to collaborate a little. I'll try and update my EXP-Tuner_hardware_support_cleanup_and_extension branch in the next couple of days so you can see what I've got. The main thing is that the DiSEqC logic has been centralised in what is/was the DiSEqCMotor class. PM me if you're interested in talking about this...
Thank You for the reply mm1352000. Yes I am using the Genpix skywalker 1 with the new BDA Windows certified driver.
I do not want to break this as it is quite an expensive tuner so not sure if I will try that driver or not.
It is nice to hear that you guys are working on this though and since I like MP it might be worth waiting a bit longer.
The reason I was thinking I needed more RAM is that TV now seems to be HiDef and so the files have grown. I edit the files before storing them, to reduce some size. It is finding that slower, I think. Or it could just be because I'm expecting more? The Baseboard manufacturer says ASUSTech Computer Inc; Baseboard product P7P55D-E...

I'm not sure where to post this query - I've been told, during a conversation about costs of upgrading, that W11 may not support my...
If you’re planning to submit a pull request, let’s go through the list of issues and their solutions.
I or someone from the team will create a Jira ticket, and for each ticket, you’ll make the changes and submit a pull request.
This will be transparent and straightforward.

If it's an apartment block, it's quite likely that the LNB is something exotic that handles Sky and others. Try a different LNB frequency (and possibly the low and high frequency settings. I know little of such things, but apparently Sky is often 10750. Give it a try. Freeview is horizontally polarised.

I have a stream link for IPTV that is a .mpd. I can play the link in VLC and MPC-BE, but when I search for it in the TV servers it can not find it. The stream is HEVC with AAC audio. Does mediaportal not support .mpd streams?
