Using remote nums for keyboard input - same as in Cellphones ? (1 Viewer)

Apparantly SMS style input was implimented in MP1.01, however I can't work out how you activate it. I have a genuine MCE remote and reciever but I can't get it to work no matter what I try. Also there is this patch by Nickola although its a bit old now and I havent personanly tried it. I have used custom actions in the "Mapping" section of "HID" since moving to a FLIRC as a remote receiver a couple of years ago...

First; TVHeadend/Kodi.... Nah. Given up on that - 'non-tech'; its horrible. 'Tech' - a few reasons but mostly that it is buggy. It is actually a real shame as it does have potential and promises a lot (was great to have Kodi on my phone and be able to watch live/recordings...
