I have supply bin for 1.4.0 and patch if you want to build on your own

I thought you can build 1.4.0 only if you set it directly in solutioninfo and build it in vs not with your super script. They assigning git version

I will test more with my usual setup (AVSplitter+MPC decoders) and report!

Thank you, just installed MP 1.4.0 on new SSD on new win7 - just because 1.4.0 was final MP that supported XP.

<rant> What a unholy bloat-mess windows became ! - win7 rebooted, rebooted, rebooted, to install all that ridiculous slowly-installing "updates" - I can't even imagine how thay achived that slow shutdown procedure. It's not an OS, it's a gigantic pile of spaghetti code and DRM.</rant>

So unless it will actually run "stable" for a while, I'll switch back the the other SSD and apply your binary.
...I't a pity MP does not exist for Linux, or merge with MythTV
