If you are suffering from a codec problem it is probably going to affect MP as well.
For a start, you should tell us what codecs you installed (or if it was a pack) and also what the problem you had was. You should also tell us what codecs you have sleected in MP config.
There is a support template as a sticky thread. Fill that out and give as much info as possibl.

At the moment, your post is kind of like going into a mechanic and saying there is a problem with my car. Tell me how to fix it.

    Where do i find that.

    Here's my info.

I've got Nvidia Pure installed. (selected in setup, both audio and video)

My videofiles are located on another pc in "Movies title" folder. Inside a VIDEO_TS folder and a AUDIO_TS folder. All video are in .vob format (dvd ripped)

Use to format them to mpeg for my x360, but didn't work that good as an extender (i think)

The thing is, the moviefolders show up in MP, but when i click them to play them. Mp just goes "beep" don't access the folder or anything, just goes "beep"

    :D

Does the VIDEO_TS folder also include .ifo and .bup files? The structure of my directories is as below.

    Code:
    ---Movie Folder
                    |----AUDIO_TS
                    |----VIDEO_TS
                                |----VIDEO_TS.BUP
                                |----VIDEO_TS.IFO
                                |----VTS_01_0.BUP
                                |----VTS_01_0.IFO
                                |----VTS_01_1.VOB
                                |----VTS_01_2.VOB
                                |---etc....

Kaarup: now let me first say i dont really know if MP has a problem with international chr's, but i notice you are from Denmark, and my first thought were, do you have any 'æøå' in your folder names?

As i said i haven't tried this my self - i always use english chr on things like that(old habit, from the early 90's were almost no sw supported norwegain/danish characters.), hey i even don't use scandinavian WinXP, or .se, .no language in tv menu's - or MP it self hehe :)

Also you would need either PowerDVD or WinDVD installed (or equivalent).
Nvidia Purevideo started life out as a DVD decoder, but not sure that it will still do it.

I'm running 2.5 with the WMC skin. I have .mp4 files, along with the related .srt files in the same folder. I can watch the movies just fine. In past versions of MP, like 2.4x, I could press the More Info button on my remote twice, and on the second press, an option for showing/choosing the subtitles was listed. I'd select the...

Sorry, it's my fault -- I did not notice that you are using MP2. :( MP1 has a separate configuration utility, similar to "TV Server Config". I have tried MP2 only a couple of times, and have never used it seriously. I don't know what MP2 supports with regard to adjusting audio delay, but I do know that all of the adjustments of...

Thank you for pointing out that my analysis may be less than accurate. :p Although the change to TV channel 71 may not also have been applied to the independent radio channels (different MUXes), the logs that I prepared for one of the development team does show a difference between channel 704 ("BBC Radio 4") and channel 731...
