You mean watching TV on a client?
Install MP @ client, but not TV server. You only need the client.
Open MP config and write the name of the computer the server is installed.

I'd say thats not possible. It is possible to play two videos on 1 PC and have them display on different monitors, but sound would be a lot more difficult. Plus i dont think two instances of Mediaportal would go down all that well at all.

MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo.
