Is it possible to get the tvserver to wake up once a day and run a program - batch etc for grabbing web epg?
In the power scheduler you con only get it to wake up automaticly when grabbing epg from dvb.

If you are running tvserver in single seat and you are using WebEPG to grab the EPG then you can use the WebEPG Grabber plugin in MediaPortal. This will wake up the PC at a specified time on whichever days you require.

I have set up my HTPC to wake up at 4:00am each day to grab the EPG. Powerscheduler then puts the HTPC back to hibernate after it has finished.

But I use a different web epg grabber than the one in MP. Is it possible to change what grabber it should use??

you can just set that grabber to run as a windows scheduled task (control panel, sheduled tasks) and in the advanced options for the task, tick the "Wake the computer to run this task" option.

Don't forget to add the grabber as a process in the Powerscheduler plugin in TV Server to stop Powerscheduler from switching the PC to hibernate/standby when the grabber is running.
