The problem with the MCE remote is that it doesn't work at all. no errors. it just doesn't work with any of the functions of your plugin. it lets you go back to the main menu and other media portal function but just won't do anything in your plugin

maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck?
