If you look at the bottom of this page:

    https://www.team-mediaportal.com/mediaportal/features-overview

You see a Regular and Premium download button.
I just did that, and I don't see those buttons. I do however see an advertisement.

It seems that this is a purposely misleading Google advertisement.
Not purposely by us, that's for sure. We'd never intentionally attempt to confuse. The advertisements that are shown are determined by Google.

sorry for the confusion but thats the beauty of being a 'large' OpenSource project. We have 3 figures expenses every month for servers & (web-)software/-scripts aso but, compared to fix costs, very few donations. So the only option is to cover those regular expenses by ads the least offensive way possible and thats Google Adsense. No popups and no toolbars delivered by installer or anything that would surely be better paid.
This works fine most of the time but Google nearly allows every kind of (ad-)image and from time to time we get annoyed by those 'fake' download-banners. Blocking them is possible (and we do it once we know them) but time-consuming so we can't check a few hundred every day upfront.

No complaints from me. I know that it is the Ad developer who made it confusing (now). I have to admit it was very clever on their part and in a way MediaPortal benefited: I clicked on it several times trying to figure out what the premium version did. Still didn't realize what that was until a posting here. Looking forward to using MediaPortal in the future. And I will definitely donate $ when I do.

Sorry, I didn't get email notifications on these latest replies. I just came here to report I solved the problem after adjusting power settings for "Intel Graphics". I set it to Maximum Performance. I tried many other things so it could be a combination of them, but this was the last thing I did and I haven't had the problem return...

If you use a VPN connection to your home network, you should be able to use the MP client to connect to your server natively instead of using MPExtended.

TV Server plugins are listed on this page, and "EPG Cleaner" can be downloaded from this page. Note: I don't know what bitness the plugin has. It might be 32-bit, or it might be "any cpu". The plugin is not listed by the "MP Extensions" tool, so I don't know whether it has been tested with the most-recent MP releases. -- from...

Sorry, it's my fault -- I did not notice that you are using MP2. :( MP1 has a separate configuration utility, similar to "TV Server Config". I have tried MP2 only a couple of times, and have never used it seriously. I don't know what MP2 supports with regard to adjusting audio delay, but I do know that all of the adjustments of...

It may seem strange, but the open-source license allows anyone to sell physical CDs or DVDs to customers, provided that, for example, the source code is made available upon request and additional value is provided, such as an installation manual. Both of these are mentioned in the product description, so it appears to be legitimate...
