can you see the new tv part that frodo is working on sneaking into any of those Release Candidates before the actual release of 0.3?
Definately. Currently it looks like it could be published within a month. No promise, tho. It takes what it will take, of course. But it will definately be in SVN builds even before we're switching to the bugfixing phase (release candidates) again.

If it's an apartment block, it's quite likely that the LNB is something exotic that handles Sky and others. Try a different LNB frequency (and possibly the low and high frequency settings. I know little of such things, but apparently Sky is often 10750. Give it a try. Freeview is horizontally polarised.
