You can customize where recordings are stored. See this page in manual (this page for TVServer).

Then from the TV menu in MediaPortal, you go to recorded programs to watch them.

You can also add your recording folder as a Video share to watch it from Videos section.

Great... actually, I have been browsing to this menu once... but too many options didn´t let me see the right point.

By the way, is there a possibility to e.g. C:\MyVideos the startup directory for browsing videos instead of adding it as a directory to the list?

    Hi again

Not sure I follow your question, so please clarify if my answer is not sufficient.

If you have more than one video share, you can give the default one a checkmark in Configuration. The checked one will open by default, but you will still be able to browse to the other (using .. for up directory in MP).

If you use "Manual Booking" (left side menu on the "Recording Schedule" panel), you can schedule a recording duration of up to 24 hours. However... That is using the "conventional" TV sources, i.e. a DVB-T tuner, a DVB-S tuner, or an analogue tuner. You stated in your other thread that you are using an IPTV source. Perhaps there is a...

I was just tinkering with a few settings in the MediaPortal configuration and am happy to have found the cause of the problem. Disabling the option "Single seat setup: force RTSP usage" under "TV/Radio", "Advanced Options" resolved the issue. After I disabled this option, I was able to delete the recordings the first time...

Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...
