    Thanks for your answer.

But I have a HTPC with imon inside. What fails me is the remote control and do not know where to buy it.

You can for sure use a Logitech Harmony instead. Any cheap MCE-compatible RC6 remote should also work.

The Philips should work nicely. You can use the IR receiver for another client - or sell it again.

    Thank you.

Can I turn on and off the computer with the remote control indicated?

Turning it off will be no problem. Turning it on should be no problem, but remains to be seen live. The Imon adapter is working a little bit differently in terms of being parallel to the Power button of the PC. Yet I am optimistic that this will work, but can't give you a 100% certainty.
