We should find someone who puts the complete (already grabbed) TVGUIDE.XML file online on a daily base, like they do in the Netherlands ...
That way no-one would have troubles with the installation of the TV Guide in Mediaportal, and there would be less download traffic on the TV Guide stes like Humo, TVBlad and others.
Its an idea, but its difficult to find someone who has the knowledge and wants to.
I have some webspace, but I don't have a PC that's online all the time. But I'm sure there are Belgian people who have some webspace, and have a PC up and running all day. But I think the extra load on Humo.be from the grabber isn't that much. I wouldn't bother...
The grabbing still doesn't work for canvas, vtm and vt4. Its only partial information i get. I changed the vtm and vt4 link and added the move=full& thing. Now it grabs vtm ok but not VT4 after 21u. It grabs vt4 ok 2 days later in the guide but then vtm isn't ok. I also tried to add 2 channels (discovery and national geograpic). These channels don't show up in the mapping plugin in the tv server. The also don't show in te tvguide.xml
How can i solve the problems. Does anyone have the correct tvbx.ini file with the correct vt4 and VTM grabbings?
I would like to help to get an online location where we can upload the tvguide.xml file. Maybe we could make folders with the grabbers for humo, skynet, etc...
If someone helps me te get the tvxb.ini file correct, i'll upload it every dag to a fixed location for others to download.
Maybe we could use 'category' in stead of 'genre'?
From the Developers' guide of tvxb:
category category=6
Use category to specify the position or ‘column’
containing the show category.
Note:
• From release 1.0065 TVxb will attempt to
recognize category information (somewhat
rudimentary at this moment). However you will
need to edit TVxb.ini and manually entry the
information TVxb provides.
optional
I can't test it right now, because my htpc isn't connected.
I said in my previous posts that i've changed the tvxb.ini file with the move=full option.
But it seems like tvxb doesn't look at the ini file anymore. If i change the name of the gapefiller it doesn't show up in the guide.
I'll do a full restart tomorrow and test it again. Its difficult to debug as the consolewindow can't be read and there is no log file. Even with the trace=1.
