I said in my previous posts that i've changed the tvxb.ini file with the move=full option.
But it seems like tvxb doesn't look at the ini file anymore. If i change the name of the gapefiller it doesn't show up in the guide.

I'll do a full restart tomorrow and test it again. Its difficult to debug as the consolewindow can't be read and there is no log file. Even with the trace=1.

move=full returns an empty schedule (since yesterday I think?). AFAIK there is no longer an option to get all programs on one page if there are more then 30 programs.

Kunnen we hier niets mee?

sethtmlcontinue=<a class='RightFrame' href='epg_zender.html?pagina=1&channel=VTM&dag=[day=dd/mm/yyyy]&channelPrev=VTM&dagPrev=[day=dd/mm/yyyy]'>

Zie sethtmlcontinue in de TVxB Developer Guide...

It does work, as far as I have tested this. This is how I proceeded, I am not claiming this is the best way, but you might find some use in it :D

  • Downloaded the program and put it in c:\program files\Team MediaPortal\Mediaportal\xmltv
  • Copied over the file xmltv.dtd into same directory (on Vista it is residing in c:\Programdata\Team Mediaportal\Mediaportal\xmltv)
  • From a command prompt in this same directory execute once "mc2xm -c be -g <postcode> -o tvguide.xml"
    In my case (Brussels) this would be mc2xm -c be -g 1050 -o tvguide.xml
  • The program will ask you what Lineup you have. Try around a few of the options, I decided to go for Unmapped Digital Cable, but you choose for yourself
  • You should now have a TVGuide with all possible channels
  • To shorten this liste, use notepad, create a file "mc2xml.chl" and copie inside the names of the channels you want to keep (the rest will be discarded). Make sure you copy the exact description names from the tvguide.xml. Every channel has several names, I decided to go for the easy version.
  • Now you can the program again, as it will have made "configuration files", you do not need to specify everything again. To force to redownload all data, I use "mc2xm -f -o tvguide.xml"
  • If you are satisfied with the result, you can make a scheduled task

In attachment, my mc2xml.chl as a txt file

Hi guys, I struggling to get the epg working on my freshly installed v1.0RC3 (was using 0.2.3 until a few days ago without the server)
The initial reason for switching was because my epg was not working anymore but after wards I found out that teveblad was the problem so I switched to humo - which doesn't work anymore.
So now, I'm searching for a solution to get this working and at the same time I'm searching to get the tv server working on a test machine.

Can someone enlighten me what this is about and difference with the 'standard provided' way from MP because this is like Chinese to me.

    TIA
    P2

The reason that the WebEPG grabbers for both Teveblad and Humo do not work anymore, is that both website have removed the possibility to view a 2-page EPG as a single page, using the link with move=full.

Since the Web-EPG grabbers use this code in their starting page, nothing gets grabbed at all. You could go into the grabber file and remove the Move=full part from the starting URL, but this results in incomplete data for VTM (every day) and some other channels when they have a lot programmed for the day.

Someone suggested that you could work around this with the PAGEOFFSET code. I did not try, so I cannot comment on that. I can only point you to my explanation just above your post, which details how to use mc2xml for belgium.
You can find the download link as posted by dirkw some posts above: mc2xml.
And the post by VdR about the Humo grabber topic where the link to the original post about Netherlands is to be found ... https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/webepg-136/new-grabber-www-humo-47247/

Hi Furetto, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for clarifying because I didn't know where to look anymore to get it working.
I had bumped onto that post with the humo grabber and that got my system working again a few days ago so I didn't check that one, otherwise I would have known that it was useless trying getting it to work again.

I will try your solution, what is the function of the zip code in all this, can I simply put mine (3600)?
So with this, the webEPG(conf) process becomes obsolete and I only have to make sure that in the server XmlTv plugin, I have to point to the xmltv.dtd file, right?
