Hello that should be sound sily but I am new with that programm... Is MP supposed to work when I am off-line? Because as far I can see it should be but when I am not connected to internet it turns off.

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. I don't think so, because MP has no way of knowing at which timestamp the external player stopped playback. Best way to achieve this would be to use an auto-resume feature in your external player itself. (MPC-HC can do that, I don't know about VLC)
