I fould it out myself.
Add the recordings folder to your my videos folders and now you're free to put as many recordings and other media files in a playlist as you want.
It would be more convenient and user friendly if this were possible directly from the recordings section though.

I have this too, and I believe this is 'normal' in the sense that when you switch input on the TV or turn it off, the PC looses the EDID info so it thinks your TV is no longer connected and it terminates the signal. I'm running Mediaportal v1.0 RC4. It works great in widescreen but for some reason when recording on one channel and watching on another it reverts to 4:3 screen size.
