Hi ronilse,
it still works, I activated my favourites 15 channels with EPG and 6 hours later after several tryies it still works :-)
What I also found was, that for all of the 1500 Radio channels the EPG was also activated I disabled they too.
:thx: for the help ;)

That´s just the way MS SQL Server works.
Why?
If you don´t restrict the amount of memory SQL is allowed to allocate it will allocate it all after a while.
And that´s because it caches database queries and data in RAM rather than getting it from the much slower hard drive.
So, by design.

When I close Mediaportal and open it back up, I have to navigate back to the folder where the movie is stored to resume it. Set objFSO=CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
srcRoot="\\Server\videos\New Rips\zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"

Hello, it can be a codec problem, I had this problem when I tied to change the input/ouput format of the audio stream in AC3 Filter, so try another audio codec or reset the one you are using to default settings. Maybe it can help.

I'm posting back just in case someone else stumbles on the same issue. I got this resolved by uninstalling IRSS 1.0.4.1 and installing 1.4.2 One thing I realised that I had to do is that I needed to install TV2plugin for IRSS which I nad not done previously.
All is working fine now. Thanks very much and-81 for creating this plugin.

I'm not sure whay that is such an issue but it is the same way as it works on mine. as a workaround can you re-map your remotes volume up and volume down buttons th the volume up and down keys (not the = and - that mediaportl uses but the multimedia keys)? that way the master volume would be changed but you would not get the volume...

Okey dokey fixed it
Seems that there is a problem with the power saving features of some ati cards. I have setup my PC and connected it to my A/V receiver. I also have a Logitech 880. Now the question is how do I control the computer with my remote? Somehow I need to get the commands sent out by the remote to the computer. I would assume I need some IR receiver but what kind? Also where do I get the IR commands from?
Thanks
