Without the powerscheduler plugin activated the machine will go to the standby without any problem. The powerscheduler prevent te macne to go to standby, I thnk isn't normal....

That's what I use too. It's great at recovering from all sorts of data problems. Things like failed or broken partitions, deletions, formatting, you name it.
It also has utilities to recover corrupt Office Documents (.doc, .xls, .pst, .mda....) and also corrupt zip files.
I have a pretty old version, but it still works great.

Try downloading the powerdvd trial as nvidia have stopped developing there codec over a year ago, so thats the only one i know off that does full HW dxva atm.
Just see if it makes any difference.

Not sure then. Sorry. The only real difference between our 2 systems is that I'm running Vista Ultimate SP1 vs your XP2 and our TV's. The only other recommendation I'd have is to check the cable. The audio could be bleeding over into the video maybe?

If you do a rescon of your music folders from within the Configuration, it should update the music database and remove all non-existing song.
The database is located differently, depending of your OS and what version of MP you have.

I am pretty sure you have the option within Media portal client to password protect the share, no reason the password can't be a pin number!
If the user only has a remote to access the client then he wont be able to tamper with this either.
