I am just installing MediaPortal RC1 with TV server, but I mainly use MPortal viewing variuos Video files from my harddisk...
Could you check the path to the movecover in your moviedatabase and post it here for one of your movies..
Never mind, Had to tick the every movie has its own folder checkbox under my movies. The covers are now showing :)
Find it odd though that I had to tick that coise since al my movies are ISO's in one and the same folder...

Are you setting this up with the TVServer config or Mediaportal config.
Worrying that mce will not work, does it work with the original driver software that comes with the disk.
You may have to uninstall the Pinnacle software first, as it may be locked onto the card with exclusive use.

The x1600 does support DXVA. I do not understand why the AVIVO codecs aren't an option. I can choose this with X1250 (IGP) and HD3450 (haven't tried my 9600pro as it is not supported).
