Thanks for that, kinda figured it was something like that. Pity about the xvid, would really like to see that, 5 Gig for a two hour show is a bit much! and wmv seems to mess up the sound somehow. looks like I'll have to stick to manual compression for now.

The auto compress function has a time associated with it 5 hour seems to be the default, what is this exactly??

If you used the wizard, it would have set the card depending on its card type. Even in the config program it would have determined the card type automatically so can you be more specific as to where you clicked analogue?

You can create your owns views in the music area of configuration. this should give you the ability to filter but letter eg A. B. C.
There are other views already there that you can use a base.

UPDATE:
I got it to semi work, I had to remove everything that had to do with the Radio Tuner because everytime I started MediaPortal I could hear static from the Radio so obviously it was starting up the Radio along with the TV Tuner causing conflict so I am now able to watch TV, although everything runs slow compared to BeyondTV...

For powerscheduler to work, you need to have S3/4 funtionality first.
If you have that functioning ok, then powerscheduler should work from home screen, with no activity taking place.
Also recommend using svn from today, as Bavarian has fixed many issues.

No, not at all - since you can't view two channels at the same time (its the viewing that requires the 25% CPU), then I assume that you will use the second card to record another channel? Recording from a DVB-T card requires very little CPU, since the data is already MPEG2 and it is simply written to disk.... :)
