Got it working! found exactly why it wasnt working properly, damn IR port on my laptop was enabled (didnt know id even reinstalled the drivers x.x) tried it after turning it off and it works perfectly.
Im now in the process of sorting out all my channel information and giving it a test, thanks for the help guys :)

I'll try to develop a program (with WMencoder, too) that, at clean startup (not resume, etc), wakes up the Hauppauge recorder (only for five seconds) then closes itself and starts MP..
By this way perhaps in MP the Tv will work also at first boot, without open and close MCE Tv...

Oh....Sorry! I only read your post quickly. I see it's Adolfo! ':D' Please excuse my Aussie humor. If your in the US, NTSC is your TV format....so you DON'T need to worry about PAL. Unless of coarse through your tuner card you are going to be recording video tapes...

Ive given up on HIP for the time being. Iam just using the remote software i got with the card. And its working pretty good now.
