The majority of players support only app volume or use it as default if sys volume is supported too, I wish MediaPortal could do it too, it seems most of the users don't miss this, too bad. Fortunatelly a plugin could add it, actually it's already in the working. :-)

I think the music setup in MP had progressed brilliantly over the last few years. It was the main thing stopping me leaving Meedio...
It would be nice if MP could remember previously selected subtitles for the video/movie file so when stopping and resuming playback, user wouldn't have to select the subtitles again.

Ok, I solved the mystery. The "problem" was that my files are on a Linux Fileserver and I'm sharing it with Samba. Default Samba doesn't allow the "hidden" tag as we know it in Windows, so I had to change my Samba configuration a bit.
