It would be a nice addition if one coulde choose what channel-changing-scheme (algorithm) should be used. Maybe even define your own scheme.
Could just place a dropdown on the setuptv.exe app, giving the user the possibility to choose between 2-3 schemes.

How about a MediaPortal plugin that can access the MediaPortal wiki? Like a help menu inside MP. (idea originally from pbb )...
I would say Meedio has the best frontend of all applications I've seen, followed by MCE.

that bug was solved by turning on bass player :P for some reason the default player didnt play VBR mp3's at all :)
but to the point, couldnt you just add another view: 'tags'?
no icon, big icon etc choices (except if someone wants to make icons for all the tags :P), just list and then an alphabetical list of the tags

You don't have to delete db for updating TVE3, if something it's changes (to db) it will automatically be deleted when installing/configuring TVE3 setup.
btw, it's pretty fast to uninstall & then install (if no changes to db it's required) new TVE3 pack, from a testers view ;)

I don't know if this is of any use for other countries than norway, but in norway different channels sends their signal i different aspect ratio. I would like to see the possiblity to have individual aspect ratios for each channel. let's say that you added a default aspect ratio field in the channel setup.
