Hello,
A very nice function in the mediaportal I miss is the ability to autostart and auto shutdown computers.
I now use a .bat script when I start my Mediaportal that's allow me to turn on my remote computers If I want to.
I use the free mc-wol (Wake-on-LAN [ MATCODE.com ]) to do that.

I got a problem with my tvserver.
I cannot tune to any channel and i cant enter the tvserver setup.

MediaPortal 1 doesn't allow to use COMMENT tag in the filename format of TV recordings. In Finland series and episode info is inside the COMMENT tag. This FoxPro program renames TV recordings with the COMMENT tag. This program is freeware and you can modify it as you please.

After porting from MCE Vista and My Movies I am left with the task of getting the IMDB info for a lot of DVDs on disk.
I do already have a .dvdid file for each from MCE, is there a way of using this to aid MP's searching and building of its database?

After reviewing the logifles, I found out, that you actually save username and password (!) from the DB in clear text in the logfiles. Basically I don't know if you really need the DB credentials, but if you do so, then you should at least encrypt them.
