Running XP and MP1.2 using SAF/Power DVD 10 codecs for TV but the wife says the picture is laggy...and like movie filmed...
I think that there is not as much team testing done for non widescreen default skin, I don't even own 4:3 screen and have not for at least 10 years.

The one thing that always sticks in my mind, is bandwidth on the motherboard, if it struggles to cope, especially with only 1gb of memory, most of that is taken running the OS, let alone MP, so if you have a bottleneck, suspect it's there.
Know anypne with a spare gig of your memory, just might help a lot :P
