i have similar issue, i use mysql tho, when going from screen to screen in particular if i stop the TV service and got to say edit a channel or something i find it takes ages to refresh the screen, sometimes around 30 seconds or so

I have the same problem. It seems to be related to the Cyberlink H.264 codec and the aspect ratio. Switching to 14:9 (which is not a real solution, of course) will show the picture again... At least in my case, with a screen resolution of 1280x1024. Maybe its because this resolution is neither 4:3 or 16:9 ...?!

I am no expert but, I am having problems getting channels myself. I think it has something to do with the cam option. Maybe try different cam option for the tuner card. If I set up these cards as hybrid I have the "unknown channel" error.
If I delete the hybrid cards I see only the digital part of the Pinnacle and analog and digital of the Hauppauge.

I have the exactly same issue with my hybrid Compro T300 card I get sound but no video.
your TV log file looks o'so familiar.
