Wow, I'm surprised!
The CAM cannot work with this patch because the Twinhan interface is disabled. I will have to figure out if there is a way to make it work.
There are some really interesting things in your log files which I would like to investigate. More versions of the patch will be required.
I'll try to provide one more new version of the patch before I go to bed... but I may fail since it is already almost 11 PM here in New Zealand.
Changes (mostly you don't need to understand this):
add more debug to broadcast event registration to try to figure out what is still wrong with it
add more debug to PBDA event registration to find and workaround new null reference exception
attempt to register to receive generic PBDA IESEvents since those are the only event type IIDs which are advertised
support PBDA event registrations for the same event type on different connection points
test more proprietary KS properties with increased buffer sizes to ensure all available properties have been found
add debug for supported PBDA interfaces (DRM service, name-value service and guide data delivery service)
re-enable Twinhan handler for CI/CAM support
read Twinhan device and driver info
disable Twinhan handler DiSEqC and LNB IOCTLs to try to have tuning work
disable Twinhan DVB-S2 handling to try to have tuning work
In short: I hope the CI/CAM will work again with this version, and tuning will also mostly work (DiSEqC will not work). Please make sure you test DVB-S2 scanning/tuning to check if it works. As always, I'd like to see the TV service log file please.
Interesting. :coffee:
I always have DVB subtitles enabled in "MP Config", but I actually switch on subtitles only for those films that have deafening sound effects and music, combined with inaudible dialogue. I have never noticed the problem that you have described, but I also use the EVR renderer, and not the Madvr renderer. So...

Every so often, when I switch to a TV channel, my MP client stops accepting user inputs, either from the remote or keyboard/mouse...
hm, weird. it can't access the file because its in use by another process...
Wonder what that other one is.
Can you try excluding the recording folder of all background processes? (f.e. defender/antivirus etc, and maybe (don't know if that is even a thing) from creating thumbnails)
Edit: and is it always the second time it succeeds...

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help!
EDIT: I now downgraded the server (as I did with the client above)...
