hey pilehave. im not sure if its a bug or something. but i just installed the zip file and the new home.xml file from the first post in the thread; MediaStream by pilehave - upd. 14/01/09... but now my home text is fucked . i try to clear cache and still fucked. see attachment. idunno if its the new home.xml file or what it can be. im sure the fonts are installed correct..
i run xp sp3 with mp1.0 rc4.

It could be a couple of things, but are you sure the fonts are installed? Try and open all three Fluid fonts from your Windows font-catalog (Controlpanel -> Fonts) and see if they look ok.

It also looks like you run the skin in 4:3 mode? This could explain why the selected text is pushed to the right.

my screen resolution on work is set to 1680x1050 so not 4:3... the fonts looks like it should. they are installed.i dont get it...

1680 x 1050 is 16:10 not 16:9. I think that is enough difference for MediaPortal, to screw up the calculations used for scaling the skin...

i tried 800x600 and 1024x768 still same with the text pushed in..

Try one of these:

1280x720, 1024x576, 852x480

i try that tomorrow when back at the xp machine. works fine on my vista 1440x900 resolution.

I have a bug, but I can't tell if it's skin or plugin related. When I use MyTrailers, and try to watch X-Men origins, it won't enter the details page. I have to press exit (or escape) to get control over MP again. Any trailer I try to watch causes a problem, in which the details page of any trailers doesn't show a trailer, and you can only return to the main menu with the refresh button on the topbar. MyTrailers stays screwed up until you restart MP. I hope this makes sense.

heya pilehaven. i tried it in 1280x720 and it worked. but the resolution looked awfull on my 21" dell screen but on the tv its perfect.... i just have t o slap dell on this one

another thing i noticed. if the title is very long in the tvseries section it will overlap the airday field. e.g Terminator - the sarah connor chronicles .
maybe make it a fadelabel or something . see attachment.

Hey.... Just thought I'd list in details the problems I'm having as it seems that work is happening fast with this skin (which is great to see)..... A lot of the plugins that are listed as having been skinned don't seem to have been ported quite right. I hope this is not something I'm doing wrong at my end, so please bare with me if I'm doing something wrong... Thanks

Global Search:
Just a simple copy over, does not work..

MVids:
works great except you have to press the up arrow instead of the side arrow to bring up the slide menu?

TV-Series:
seems mostly fine except NoFocus seems to be perminantly active, and I have on the side a lot of weird listings saying "Sunday" "Wednesday"???

RadioTime:
Seems to not have been imported, no background image and navigation is a gonner... This is a brilliant plug-in and worth the attention... Also seems to cause skin issues once I've exited from it..

Wikipedia:
Not so much Wikipedia, but the font for the keys seems to be rather small and not utilizing the keyboard, maybe an idea to pinch the onscreen keyboard from StreamedMP as theirs is very nice..

WorldMaps:
No background what so ever, simple fix I imagine, maybe just short of a correct link. But this does seem to also affect location input and more.

MediaSlayer:
As expected, does not work, though I'm using 1.1b and not the recommended one in the skin.. It would be good to have the latest though as the new one has Blu-Ray and HDDVD support..

Sorry for the huge list, and I hope it doesn't come across as nagging or anything, this is an amazing skin and as far as I'm concerned should be the default by far.. Blue3 quite frankly is just not clean cut and modern enough for my personal liking. If there is any more descriptive info you need, please just spill.
