You maybe want to check out this thread over at myHTPC

I think the guy wrote it in VBscript. I don't know if he would be willing to help or let you see the code. However, the thread is probably useful to judge what people wanted added as requests. Always easier to factor these in during the design phase

Meedio based their own plugin on this which is probably even more advanced. There are several threads about that but here is the main page for it.

DAMN. Looking at that movie times vbs program. Screenshots look awesome! Trying it out. If this is good, I think i'll just port it to media portal. Somebody has already made a port to meedio.
I don't see an email address on the guys sight though. Too lazy to sign up and post a message on the meedio forum. I want to ask the guy if he'll mind me porting it.

Okay. I just tried it out. The script runs off and downloads everything to your hard drive.
So from there, it's a matter of displaying. This is definitely going to be the plugin i try to build first.
I wish I could contact the guy that wrote it. He did a great job!

Work is in progress. I decided not to use much of the movietimes script as C# has great regular expression functionality which slices the amount of code needed in half.

I'm in the process of making it save the information to a database using sqlite(just like the other plugins). After that I'll dive into integrating it with MP.
I'll keep you all posted.

I made some updates to the Wiki page describing the <import> and <include> tags, including adding a couple of new xml examples. For the first example, I highlighted the example text and eventually found the location in the menus where I could select the CODE macro to have the example text formatted as a code example. So far, so good...

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...

Hello, I would like to use a media server to display various learning categories. I prefer not to use software like Kodi, as it requires extensive metadata scraping that I don't need. Is it possible to instantly access the video categories when landing on the page? I would like to display a single media page with the following...
