Crash window informs about a fontengine.dll crash (1 Viewer)

    I have create a workaround for this but like one finally create a proper fix maybe it will be the time to use my fix

    I am no coder...I cannot really grasp how to make use of the patch referred to and the installer link is invalid.Are you saying wait until a full fix is incorporated into 1.12?

    I will able to provide a fix here for testing :) and like you are able to reproduce easily, I hope you can do some testing.

    I saved a copy of fontengine.dll and then replaced it with your version (above) and then ran Mediaportal with watchdog with plugins-
    MP took longer to close ( I think) but it did not crash. Please find attached the watchdog files

    I shall run some opening and closing of MP this evening and see if there are any further crashes but it looks like your fix hit it first time ;)
