No difference from a normal build that i can see.

Pulled down the latest CVS - overwrote the existing files with your variants and then compiled all the code.

I cannot choose / select a DVB-T card from with capture cards... I assume I'm supposed to be able to...

since i'm trying to find a specific filter by name, all filters within a certain category, in this case LegacyAmFilterCategory, are enumerated and tested to see if it has the same name. the filters arn't added to the graph untill the correct filter has been found.

This is probably why I have such a large delay when starting the DTV plug-in . I have about 4 different filter codecs on my PC, not to mention multiple versions (all that OEM stuff). Chances are you are grabbing the DVICO filter as well.

Perhaps this is a good reason to add these choices to the configuration sooner then later. From my perspective I would wait 80 seconds at the point of configuration for quick access during viewing. Plus if a person has multiple graphs (i.e. Digital / Analog / Multi-Tuners) it would perform better flipping between them.

Alternatively you could use something like DScaler and make it a pre-req. I will probably try the new build tonight or tomorrow night and let you know how it fairs.

Thanx for all the effort, I am pretty damn excited this may actually become a reality!!

I thought i'd let everyone know how things are going on my project.
I am slowly making progress in dtv support. Alot of the stuff that need doing is rewriting existing code to handle digital. i've done some of the work on the graph, with the help of the code i wrote before for the plugin, but i need to go back and change some of stuff in the Capture class. The configuration still need some tweeking aswell. I haven't done much the past couple of days due to NFSU2 and not sure how much time i'll have in the coming days either :D, but i'll try to squeese in some coding.

    Regards,
    Josh

    Latest news:

I got the shits working in the other code so i went back to the plugin i was working on before. At the moment i am able to tune a channel, and although i can get a picture, it only display when i press sown on the titlebar. I'm not sure if i can use the player in mediaportal for this, so i used the VMR9 in windowless mode. If there's some way of getting that to stay on top or i figure out how to use MediaPortal.Player or i rewrite a few of the other classes and contine on integrating it into TVCapture, things would be good. :D

    Josh,

Pop onto IRC in the mornings (evenings this side of the world) and try and catch Frodo online.
It probably best if you start chatting to him more on merging your code into the existing code and get best practice etc.
Agree may be able to offer some assistance as well.

Perhaps... Only way to confirm would be for me to invest in a different USB DVB-S2 tuner (like the Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-S2), which I might do if the issue persists.

It's getting weirder..... If I remove all the IP cards in the TVServer setup and then add them back I can scan the M3u and tune the stations but if I rescan it on the same card it just keeps updating the 1 channel. My brain is melting.........
