Yep I think it's a different issue, the refresh rate is correctly changed but when it does that your Intel driver removed the device, I did see that a long time ago and added a hack to redetect audio device to be able to rebuild the DirectShow graph to gain again the audio device.
I need to look at the code but in fact, I need to reproduce it first to try to debug it.
So I will try to disable some code for you to try and see if it's better, the call for changing Refresh Rate is done in a thread so making it in main thread will maybe fix your issue
and if yes then maybe I can try experiment code

@Sebastiii VIdeos all now play with DRR enabled, but refresh rate is not changing. Played a 24 fps movie at the end of these logs and it stayed at 50 fps.

Ok, I need to provide you an installer because I was using madVR branch code and then it seems something is missing.
So, in fact, it works because DRR is not triggered at all and then Intel Audio Driver is not removed/added.

Reinstalled MP and now cannot get Fanarthandler to work correctly due to missing "externally managed" TV Series files.

If anyone ever experiences the above, I found a fix. Removing and reinstalling MP-TVSeries fixed it. It must have gotten corrupted during the reinstall of MP. I also had to do the same with TRAKT which had some issues too that were not apparent at the time. All is well once again. :cool:
