Screenshot is useless, because it shows problem after it has happened.
You need to provide debug-verbosity-enabled log files, so they can show us what occured *BEFORE* the error showed so we can actually tell you what it is that is causing it.
MP-TVSeries uses the MediaPortal debug-verbosity level for its own logging level as well. So if you configured it for MePo you are all set.
To verify you can check to see if mptvseries.log contains the DEBUG entry in the column after date/timestamp.
Also include *ALL* logs (zip file, infact you can just use the MePo shortcut for it), as a lot of problems are caused by MePo or other plugins interfering.
Got the same error as in the screenshot and the TV series still hasn't loaded as when I click ok on the error, tv series config and media portal config close.
Looks like you are missing a required dependency or have an incorrect version of ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll in your MediaPortal binary folder. This gets installed with MediaPortal. I have attached the file to this thread, you can copy into or overwrite whats currently installed at:
There seem to be several errors shown in the log:
(1) There are many lines that say Invalid year for OnAirDate. This suggests that either the web site is sending invalid data, or that the format of the data has changed and the TvMovieEPG Importer is misinterpreting it.
(2) There is also this error, but I don't know what it means...

No EPG data has been loading for the past few days. I'm getting an error message. See attachment. Can anyone help?
I compliment you on the thoroughness of your investigations. (y)
Unfortunately, I don't have any ideas what the problem might be. :(
Perhaps someone else will post with some suggestions.

Would appreciate it if someone could solve (or point me in the right direction to resolve) this issue.
I have “MultiSeat”...
I don't think so, because MP has no way of knowing at which timestamp the external player stopped playback.
Best way to achieve this would be to use an auto-resume feature in your external player itself. (MPC-HC can do that, I don't know about VLC)

Hello Folks,
Is it possible to enable MP to resume in an External Player, where it left off ?
I guess the question also is, can...
