Hi

Deleted R225 reinstalled 240 use the BasicHome you've provided and I'm sorry to say that it does not work. No problems with any of the other GUIs. All the others, they all work fine.

I can't be the only person having these difficulties - surely.

I have to go to work now ... hear from you later perhaps.

    Hi,

Sorry that it doesn't work. I have no other reports of this issue (but that doesn't mean that there isn't). You installed the old version that used to work but now doesn't. I have no more clues. But because the menu editor reported the same error and it validates all xml files in the xfactor skin folder it is a xml error. On the other hand the same file works on mine and many others. Very stange indeed. What can make a xml file be valid on one system and invalid (parse) on other?

    best regards

    Hi,

I have encoded this file in UTF-8. Please try it and see if it helps.

    cheers

    Hi,

Now I think I know how we can find where the error is.

    1. Open MP Configuration
    2. Open the Menu Editor
    3. When the error box appears please click the Details button and copy all the error text and post it here.
    4. Then click the Continue button
    5. When the menu editor opens look at the Available List. Does it contain any entries and if so what is the last one.

    cheers

    Hi lawofduality,

    Another question;
Did you use the MPI file or the RAR file when you first installed R225 (when it worked) and did you use the same now when it didn't work?

    best regards

    Hello Mate,

Attached is the error details you requested.

I have always used the MPI method to install your GUI, however, I attempted to install via the RAR file after the MPI file didn't appear to work. That didn't work either. Had the same problem with the MPI and RAR methods of installing.

I'm very thankful for your interest and assistance.

Hi, my answers to your questions: I use MariaDB 10.5 and Mediaportal 1.33 x86 as a user, not an administrator. MP. When I start Mediaportal, no TV service appears to have started.
